This hands-on interactive 1 day course teaches workers how to deal with the most common workplace first-aid emergencies. Course includes adult, CPR, artificial respiration and choking procedures as well as emergency scene management, dealing with shock, spinal injuries, minor wound management, major bleeding, internal bleeding, poisons and minor burns. Participants spend the majority of the course doing hands on first-aid, and participating in first-aid scenarios.

This course is recognized by the Workers Compensation Board. Certification is valid for 3 years.
