This hands-on interactive 2 day course includes adult, child, infant CPR (Level C) and choking procedures as well as emergency scene management, dealing with shock, spinal injuries, heart attack, angina, stroke, bleeding, broken bones, seizures, heat related illness, hypothermia, allergic reactions, poisons and burns. Students will be orientated to the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. Participants spend the majority of the course doing hands on first-aid, and participating in first-aid scenarios. This course is recognized by the adult and child licensing care board. Certification is valid for 3 years. If you have taken this course in the last three years then you are eligible for a recertifcation. Full Course Course Length: 16 hours Recertification: 8 hours
