WorkSafeBC First Aid Dressing Station (Less Chair)

This dressing station contains all the contents required by OHS Guidelines Part 3.16(1.1) Basic requirements to meet schedule 3-A, less:

Chair suitable for treating injured worker (with a non-porous surface or covered with non-porous material)
Patient assessment charts
First aid records

Optional: consideration of an Automatic External Defibrillator - refer to OHS Guideline G3.16(2)-2.

Schedule 3-A Minimum Levels of First Aid

This first-aid dressing station would be suitable for the following workplaces:

Low risk workplace with 51-100 employees less then 20 minutes surface travel time to the hospital (would also require a level 2 first-aid kit)
Low risk workplace with 51-75 employees more than 20 minutes surface travel time to the hospital (would also require a level 3 first-aid kit)
Moderate risk workplace with 26-75 employees less then 20 minutes surface travel time to the hospital (would also require a level 2 first-aid kit)
Moderate risk workplace with 16-50 employees more then 20 minutes surface travel time to the hospital (would also require a level 3 first-aid kit and ETV equipment)
High risk workplace with 11-30 employees more then 20 minutes surface travel time to the hospital (would also require a level 3 first-aid kit and ETV equipment)
High risk workplace with 16-30 employees less then 20 minutes surface travel time to the hospital (would also require a level 2 first-aid kit)
